Dr Magdalena Halt - Fertility Specialist Adelaide
Dr Magdalena Halt

Dr Magdalena (Magda) Halt is a specialist gynaecologist with a passion for women's health. Her goal is to make gynaecology more accessible and cervical screens (Pap smears) less daunting. She is known for her approachability, friendly manner, comprehensive management and clear explanations of medical issues.

She enjoys all aspects of the job but has a special interest in keyhole (minimally invasive) surgery, excision and medical treatment of endometriosis & other causes of pelvic pain, paediatric and adolescent gynaecology and pelvic organ prolapse.

She completed her medical and surgical training in Melbourne and Adelaide, including advanced laparoscopic training at the Women's and Children's and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals. She is currently undertaking training with the Da Vinci robot to further her operating skills in deep infiltrating endometriosis disease and difficult access cases. Magda also has a background in research which helps her interpret and apply new and existing therapies in the field.

In addition to her work at AGSC, Dr Halt works at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and at the Riverland General Hospital in Berri. She welcomes new patients and looks forward to providing continuity of care and a positive working relationship for women at all stages of life.
